Child Safety Standards
Last updated: May 14, 2026
TesterBuddy is a beta testing platform that connects app developers with testers. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment and preventing the sexual abuse and exploitation of children (CSAE) in any form on our platform.
1. Platform Audience
TesterBuddy is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older. The platform is designed for professional use by app developers and beta testers. We do not knowingly allow minors to register or use the platform.
Users who appear to be under 18 years of age will have their accounts suspended immediately upon detection or report.
2. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on TesterBuddy and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities:
- Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Grooming, solicitation, or trafficking of minors
- Sharing, distributing, or linking to any of the above
- Any attempt to use the platform to contact or interact with minors for sexual purposes
3. Reporting Mechanism
TesterBuddy provides multiple ways for users to report child safety concerns:
- In-app reporting: Every user profile and message thread includes a "Report" option accessible directly within the app.
- Email: Reports can be submitted to hi@testerbuddy.app with the subject line "Child Safety Report".
All reports are reviewed promptly. Where illegal content involving minors is identified, we will report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
4. Moderation and Enforcement
We take a zero-tolerance approach to child exploitation:
- Accounts found to violate these standards are permanently banned without appeal.
- We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
- We review all flagged content and act within 24 hours of a verified report.
5. Legal Compliance
TesterBuddy complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including but not limited to:
- The PROTECT Our Children Act (U.S.)
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- EU Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children
- Applicable national laws in jurisdictions where our users are located
