About FlightPulse: Accessible Travel
FlightPulse helps blind, low-vision and disabled travellers get through an airport on their own. It describes your flight and your route through the terminal in words, works fully with VoiceOver, and tells you the moment anything changes. AIRPORT ACCESSIBILITY GUIDES Step-by-step walkthroughs from the kerb to the gate for London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Amsterdam Schiphol, Dublin, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Frankfurt. Each guide explains how to book special assistance, where the assistance points are, what to expect at security, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, accessible toilets, Changing Places and quiet areas, and how to get to the airport. Guides are written as short numbered steps that read clearly with VoiceOver. They are stored on your iPhone, so they work offline in the terminal. Every guide names the airport page it was compiled from and the month it was checked, and includes one-tap call and email buttons for the airport's assistance team. BUILT FOR VOICEOVER Every flight reads as one clear sentence: flight number, route, time, status and whether alerts are on. Timelines, boards, maps and buttons all have proper labels, and the app follows your Larger Text and Reduce Motion settings. ONE-TAP HIGH CONTRAST Switch the whole app to a black background with yellow headings, white text, thicker outlines and larger type. You'll find it in the first-launch setup or in Settings. LIVE FLIGHT STATUS Search by flight number for scheduled and estimated times, gates and terminals, shown in each airport's local time. Departure and arrival boards and a live aircraft map are included too. ALERTS AND TRAVEL-DAY REMINDERS (PRO) FlightPulse Pro sends notifications for gate and terminal changes, delays, boarding, departure, landing and cancellations on your next 3 followed flights. It also sends guided journey reminders on the day you travel: confirm your assistance meeting point, leave for the airport, and head to your gate. Alert timing depends on data from our providers and your notification settings. ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app shows your followed flights, gates and latest updates. HONEST BY DESIGN The guides are unofficial summaries, so always confirm details with the airport. Flight data comes from our providers, any demo data is clearly labelled, and there are no ads and no tracking. FlightPulse is independent and is not an airline, airport or aviation authority. FREE AND PRO Accessibility guides, High Contrast, VoiceOver support and live status are free. You can follow up to 3 flights for free. FlightPulse Pro adds alerts, journey reminders, unlimited follows and iPhone and iPad sync. FlightPulse Pro costs £2.99 per month or £19.99 per year. There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
