About Ink & Stone: Weiqi Wars
Ink & Stone brings Go, also known as Weiqi or Baduk, to a painted realm. Lead the House of Black Ink across six regions, with a game of Go behind each contested point on the map. LEARN YOUR FIRST MOVES Master Heron's nine lessons in the Learn tab introduce Capture Go, liberties, atari, ko, and scoring. Then play Free Play games against an AI opponent from 30 kyu to 1 dan, choosing the board, your color, the handicap and the clock. MEET SIX WARLORDS From Wen the Ferryman to the Jade Empress, each opponent has a different style and a place in Heron's story. Each warlord announces its next target on the map, so you can claim a landmark, shield a stone, or prepare a threatened region with a puzzle before the attack lands. Use the realm's capture rules to surround enemy groups. Play the duels yourself or delegate eligible fights to resolve them by their odds. A LITTLE GO EACH DAY Work through the puzzle library or try the daily selection. Earn fragments, complete daily quests, and build your collection as you play. FREE TO PLAY The lessons, Free Play, puzzles, and all six campaign chapters are free. The only purchases are optional stones, a board, and a seal that change the appearance of your game. The Supporter Pack includes Ink Wash Stones, the Night Ink Board, and the Plum Seal. No purchase changes the AI's strength or a duel's rules. Play the solo game offline. An internet connection is needed to buy or restore purchases and to use optional Game Center leaderboards and achievements. Requires iOS 17 or later. Progress is saved on this device and syncs through your iCloud.
